Oilseeds Overview
Oilseeds are fundamental to edible oils and high-protein meals. Eris Agro aggregates and segregates sunflower seeds, rapeseeds (canola), corn germ, cotton seed and sheanut, aligning seed quality to crusher/refiner requirements and yield objectives.
Sub-products
- • Sunflower Seeds
- • Rapeseeds (Canola)
- • Corn Germ
- • Cotton Seed
- • Sheanut
Portfolio & Uses
• Sunflower Seeds: Confectionery and crushing grades; high-oleic programmes on request.
• Rapeseeds (Canola): Preferred double‑low varieties for food oils and, where applicable, biodiesel.
• Corn Germ: Streams suited to corn oil extraction; residual cake routed to feed.
• Cotton Seed: Linted/delinted supply; relevant anti-nutritional factors managed.
• Sheanut: West African kernels; routed to food/cosmetics fractions.
Quality, Traceability & Compliance
Intake checks for oil and moisture; varietal and origin segregation maintained. Where applicable, traceability and mass‑balance options are available. Acceptance criteria are defined in the contract and confirmed on COA.
Logistics & Scheduling
Arrivals are synchronised with crushing schedules; origin/port storage reduces demurrage and loss. Bulk rail/truck/sea flows are coordinated in a single plan.
Sustainability
Responsible sourcing with transparency for growers and crusher/refinery partners.
